Regular ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how your information is handled.

1. The Short Version

We do not sell your data. We do not use ads. Your health data is stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore (a cloud database) and is linked to your account solely for the purpose of syncing across your devices.

2. Data We Collect

Payment Processing and Subscriptions

If you choose to purchase a "Regular Pro" subscription, your payment is processed directly and securely by Apple (via the App Store). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information.

To manage entitlements and verify your active subscription status across your devices, we use RevenueCat. RevenueCat temporarily processes an anonymous App User ID and receipt validation data from the App Store to confirm your purchase. RevenueCat does not have access to your personal identifiable information or financial data. Third-Party Authentication (e.g., Google or Apple)

If you choose to sign in using a third-party service like Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information provided by that service (such as your Name and Profile Picture, in addition to your Email Address). We use this information solely to create and personalize your account, facilitate cross-device syncing, and populate your health reports (e.g., displaying your name on the Gut Health Report).

Apple "Hide My Email" Feature

If you use Apple Sign-In and choose the "Hide My Email" option, Apple generates a private, unique proxy email address for your account. We treat this anonymized proxy address exactly the same as a standard email address. It is used exclusively to authenticate you and sync your data across devices without revealing your personal email address to us. We do not share this proxy address or any of your profile information with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

3. How We Use Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide the features of the app (showing your history and analytics). We do not share your health data with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (a secure cloud database), NOT locally on your device. This cloud-based approach means:

To permanently delete your data, you must delete your account through the app's Settings menu (see Section 5 below).

5. Your Rights

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via the "Settings" menu in the app. This action is permanent.

6. Affiliate Links

Our app may contain affiliate links to third-party products (currently Amazon). If you make a purchase through these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products the founder personally uses and trusts. These links do not affect your privacy or the data we collect.

7. Data Retention

When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

8. International Users (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR, including data portability and the right to be forgotten. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

9. Children's Privacy

Regular is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be announced within the app.
